Yesterday someone told me that they admired my ability to love people (so much)...with my heart and mind.
I feel this is something that I really need to get better at.
Why is it that people can see such amazing things in us...and we can't?

That's a good thought!
Probably because we live with ourselves 24/7 and they don't. So really we know the real us, all of our faults and junk. Others usually only get to see part of us, and that is usually the good stuff. It doesn't make what they see false, but we have a hard time believing it. (At least that's how it is with me!)

I said the SAME THING in one of my first blogs! Other people can see the things in us that we easily overlook or think we lack in.
